Ariannah is a Licensed Master Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California where her focus was on mental health and wellness. She uses a person-centered approach that focuses on enhancing each client’s ability to address their own needs and guiding them towards the change they desire.
Ariannah has worked with clients in addressing and navigating needs and/or challenges related to depression, anxiety, family/relationship issues, personal growth, sexual and childhood trauma, PTSD, and suicide ideation. Through her recent work with military families, she was able to gain experience in financial counseling, issues with family dynamics, and major life transitions. She has been trained in a variety of evidence-based practices including; Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Problem-Solving Therapy, Crisis Interventions, Mindfulness, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
Throughout her experience and training, Ariannah believes it is most important to recognize each client’s needs as an individual. This includes being mindful and respectful of all cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, language barriers, and physical or mental disabilities. Her ultimate goal is to provide a safe place for clients to address their life challenges while encouraging healing, providing support, and helping them reach their goals.
