Caitlin Pinsof approaches counseling as a collaborative and non-judgemental process. She fosters a safe, warm, and empathic environment, which allows her clients to access their own internal resiliency and resources while finding solutions to the issues that brought them to counseling. Caitlin integrates research-based treatment modalities with real-world experience to help her clients make the changes necessary to reach their fullest potential. Caitlin sees individuals, families, and couples and has worked with clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Her areas of specialization include relationship and family issues, self-esteem, identity, grief and loss, sex and intimacy, body image, addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
Caitlin earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her undergraduate training at Florida Atlantic University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. Caitlin’s clinical training has occurred in a wide variety of settings, including private practice, residential, out-patient, and community mental health.
