Biography
As cliché as it sounds ‘helping people’ is what Jodi was meant to do. It’s that simple.
For 24 years she has practiced as a clinical social worker in Arizona. 24 years is also how long she has been a mother and feels fortunate to have these roles. Jodi grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Social Work. For the second half of her life she moved to Arizona where she obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. From multi stressed families to veterans of the military, the seriously mentally ill and child welfare parents, patients in detention and patients in detox, children in emergency shelters and adult survivors of trauma; she is a well-rounded clinician to say the least. In addition to direct practice she has overseen behavioral health programs throughout Maricopa County and continues to provide clinical supervision to new therapists.
The common denominator of the people she has served is that they were hurting. She will meet you where you are in your life based on your circumstances; to heal from trauma, to mend a broken relationship, to parent differently or whatever you struggle with by showing you the answers within yourselves.
