Kaitlyn received her Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University Northwest and her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Michigan State University. Kaitlyn enjoys and has experience working with couples, individuals, and families. She has been able to work with clients on a variety of presenting problems including infidelity, self-esteem building, anxiety, depression, co-parenting, LGBTQIA, and body image concerns. Kaitlyn also recently completed a thesis focusing on social media’s impacts on relationships and is interested in this topic in her practice.

Kaitlyn believes that as humans we are all involved in systems that shape our actions, behaviors, and thoughts. She works to process these systems with her clients to understand their problem formation. Kaitlyn utilizes a systemic, client-centered approach to therapy and values creating a safe space for her clients, which includes emphasizing social location. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and works to explore each of the systems that may be impacting a client’s life.”
