With a background is in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), her approach is client centered, empathetic and non-judgmental. She has been working in the mental health field for 10 years and has experience with various age groups and ethnicities.

Marguerite believes in actively listening to her clients and not jumping to conclusions about their problems. She works with her clients to establish goals and come up with comfortable strategies to work towards achieving them. Through her techniques with cognitive-behavioral therapy, she shows clients how to change negative thinking patterns that are not aiding them in feeling the way they want to feel, and introduces them to behavioral techniques that will help them relax and think clearer in their daily activities.

A licensed clinical professional counselor, Marguerite holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from George Washington University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Adult and Child Psychology from Vanderbilt University, and a degree in Life Coaching from IPEC.
