Sandi Langham uses an eclectic counseling approach that includes mindfulness-based stress reduction/relaxation, cognitive behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. She specializes in working with individuals who are struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, addictions, or making a behavior change. She has extensive experience working with employees trying to manage a healthy work-life balance through employee assistance program (EAP) work.
Sandi believes there is incredible potential and hope for each person to have a fulfilling and meaningful life and that each person possesses resources within themselves in order to create the change they desire. She believes counseling facilitates helping people understand themselves in a deeper and richer way as well as connect to their own inner-strength and resilience. She believes counseling can offer “tools” to people which are pursuant to moving closer to their desired life goals, emotional healing, happiness, and well-being.
Sandi completed her graduate studies at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a Clinical Counseling Specialization. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Taylor University. She also possesses specialized addiction certification.
