Steven Losardo

Marriage and Family Therapist

Steven provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families. His areas of clinical interest include issues of infidelity, premarital counseling, identity in adolescence and adulthood, life and career transitions, proactive dating in the digital age, distressed or unrewarding work and family relationships, relationship coaching for executives, sports coaches and players, financial therapy, discernment divorce counseling, spirituality, men’s issues, anxiety and depression.

Steven uses an integrative and systemic framework in his therapy with a client-centered, strengths and hope-based focus. He draws from a variety of methodologies and empirically-supported treatments with the objective of helping all clients reach and proactively maintain goals. He provides an honest, empathetic, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment helping client access the expertise from their own lives.  Meanwhile, Steven is committed to understanding the cultural contexts in which each of his clients lives. Steven focuses on helping his clients gain insight and make positive changes in their lives by working collaboratively with them during recovery and transformation. He honored to be an instrument of hope and healing for a part of the client journey.

Steven had an earlier career in consulting and management for a software company in the for-profit sector is currently a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. Steven has a Bachelor’s degree from The College of the Holy Cross in Economics/Accounting and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from The University of Florida. In 2014, he began making a momentous transition to start training in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. As a result, he received a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University, training at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Steven also earned a Master of Arts degree from Liberty University in Pastoral Counseling focusing on Marriage and Family receiving clinical training in faith-based solution-focused counseling.
