Wynn works with adult individuals, couples, and families searching for more fulfilling relationships, more satisfying work, and an overall more meaningful life. Primary areas of therapeutic interest and experience include eating disorders, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, self-injury, personality disorders, and women’s issues. Wynn enjoys working with women of all ages who struggle with self-destructive behavior in health, work, love, family and finances.
Wynn’s approach believes in an active therapist role in the therapeutic relationship to help clients achieve their goals and manifest a more meaningful, fulfilling life. In session, therapeutic techniques draw include from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), 12-step facilitation, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and spiritual exploration.
Wynn earned both her Master of Social Work (MSW) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degrees from Loyola University Chicago. She has extensive experience in residential treatment for eating disorders, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma symptoms, and personality disorders. Wynn also has experience in working with LGTBQ-identified individuals and couples.
