Kyle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that everyone deserves to be happy, understood, and appreciated for who they are. As a counselor, Kyle provides an open-minded, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients can work toward pursuing a meaningful and empowered life. Ultimately, Kyle hopes that through collaborative work with his clients, he can help them grow and develop a strong sense of self where they are able to genuinely connect with those around them.
Kyle acknowledges that every person who seeks services at Symmetry Counseling is unique, which is why he individually tailors his work with clients to be as helpful as possible. Kyle also understands the importance of incorporating an intersectional mindset when it comes to treating individuals from marginalized groups. Every individual experience the world around them differently, and Kyle wants to help each person be able to understand and interact with that world as effectively and passionately as possible.
Kyle received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as his Masters of Science in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University. Kyle previously worked as a Screening, Assessment, and Support Services Therapist where he engaged in individual and family therapy, parent training, and crisis intervention for individuals with a wide range of presenting concerns.
Kyle has experiencing with issues regarding depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship difficulties, non-monogamy, the LGBTQ+ community, coping skills, and stress management.
