Biography

Lauren is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She is especially passionate about working with couples and adults who are seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and relational conflict. For Lauren, helping people navigate the challenges they face and the difficulties in their relationships is an incredibly fulfilling journey. She believes that empathy and kindness are the most important things we bring to our relationships, and it is her goal that her clients feel heard, supported, and cared for.

Lauren utilizes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, in which the client is the expert on their lived experiences and goals. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients using warmth, humor, and authenticity. She frequently draws from several therapy models such as Gottman Method Couples Therapy, in which she has completed Level 2 training, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Spanish from Michigan State University. She then received her training and Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy at Purdue University Northwest.
