Sara is an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families find meaning and self discovery in their life’s journey. Sara utilizes an integrative therapuetic approach with each of her clients. Sara’s orientation is strength-based and client-centered with a focus on hope. Sara believes you are the expert on yourself. You have the ability to heal and move forward in life. Sara will be with you on this journey. This can include managing anxiety, depression, relationship betrayal, family conflict, grief and loss, childhood trauma, or struggling to manage day to day life.
Sara would welcome the opportunity to help you understand why you may be feeling stuck and what got you to this emotional state. Together we can work on understanding what changes are necessary to move forward with a healthy and fulfilled life and what you desire.
Sara is trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, MI, IFS, TF-CBT, Substance Use Disorders, Discernment Counseling, Couple’s Counseling, Sex Therapy in Couple’s Counseling and both a Prepare-Enrich Facilitator and Clinical Supervisor for the state of Arizona. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School in Minnesota in 2012, where she was born and raised. Sara moved to Arizona in 2019 and has been enjoying Arizona’s 300 days of sunshine each year.
