Biography:

Renata joins Symmetry Counseling to support clients who are learning to work through life’s challenges and transitions. She engages clients with a focus on mindfulness, self-compassion and acceptance. Renata believes it is important to work at the client’s pace for desired wellness and sustained change. These changes can be achieved through Renata’s psychodynamic and person-centered therapeutic style which includes but is not limited to CBT, DBT, solution focused, and a trauma informed approach. Renata enjoys working with people who want to grow through or get through a difficult period in life whether those stresses lead to or stem from anxiety, depression, bipolar, personality disorders, trauma, work life balance difficulties, becoming a new parent, or struggling to have children. Renata has experience working with adults and families in a collaborative, warm, and non judgmental space with a background in women’s health and community mental health.

Renata received her Master of Science at Concordia University Chicago and her Bachelor of Science at Northeastern Illinois University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.
