Biography

Zoe strongly believes that creating a proper relationship is essential to a unique and individualized therapeutic journey. Zoe brings empathy and compassion by creating a warm and welcoming space so that her clients feel understood and heard. She incorporates the client as an equal partner in the growth process, allowing individuals to feel empowered to draw on their strengths and navigate life’s stressors.

Zoe brings an extensive background of experience to her everyday work having worked with diverse populations struggling with anxiety, depression, grief & bereavement, familial issues, trauma, and major life transitions. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. Zoe utilizes a strength-based and trauma-informed approach and incorporates aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Zoe’s goal is to help clients live a healthier, more meaningful life.

Zoe received her Masters of Social Work and Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Michigan. Zoe specialized in children, youth & families, as well as school social work. She gained experience and insight working with complex family structures. Her clinical background includes training at Jewish Family Services, Gilda’s Club, and St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School.
