Biography

Carl Jung once said, “The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed”. Never has there been a better time than now to learn how to feel more connected to yourself, others and the world around you. Therapy provides all the elements of intimacy: honest communication, vulnerability and trust. Good therapy is challenging yet warm, providing both structure and empathy for your unique experience. Brittany’s overall goal for each client is for them to obtain a balanced and healthy life. Welcoming eating disorders, couples therapy, anxiety, depression, stress management, insomnia, trauma, and women’s issues.

Originally from Southern California, Brittany received her BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and obtained an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling – Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rutgers University. As a certified 200 hour yoga instructor, Brittany is open to incorporating gentle movement into client sessions if appropriate. Brittany’s approach is nonjudgemental, collaborative, and eclectic; utilizing various evidenced based therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual. She believes that you are the expert of your experiences, and her role is implementing strategies that deliver the relief you seek.
