Biography
Peyton is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Art Therapist who’s dedicated to creating a personalized space that provides safety and support to individuals as they venture into their therapeutic journey of self-discovery. This journey invites individuals to explore their strengths, identify their weaknesses, and learn new ways of adapting to life’s stressors –even if their stressors are self-created.

Oftentimes the solutions may seem easier said than done, therefore individuals get in the way of their own success. With this understanding, Peyton utilizes non judgment and unconditional positive regard to highlight the skills and tools that many individuals have but struggle to activate. It is her desire that in activating this awareness, individuals can begin to utilize their own power and abilities through an increased understanding of their self-efficacy and resilience within challenging moments.

Peyton was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She moved to Chicago to obtain her education from DePaul University where she received a B.A. in American Studies with a Minor in Psychology and Studio Art. She then went on to obtain her Master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy from Alder University. She has experience working with a wide variety of populations in settings and specializes in life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, depression and addiction.
