Elizabeth Caspers, LCSW, is a graduate of Loyola University’s Master of Social Work program where she focused on mental health, specializing in children and families and school social work. Elizabeth is compassionate, caring and empathetic to the difficulties that individuals face in modern life. With an understanding of the courage it takes to engage in therapy, Elizabeth believes in personalizing her approach to identifying and reaching goals, through highlighting and developing individual strengths in an unbiased, non-judgmental and safe environment. Elizabeth integrates Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness Based and Person Centered Therapy, tailoring these approaches with a focus on a person’s strengths, environmental circumstances and interpersonal relationships to help them achieve their personal goals.

Through her extensive experience working with various populations she has strengthened her ability to support diverse people of all ages and backgrounds, with a wide range of strengths and challenges, including people who have been impacted by trauma. She has experience helping clients with parenting, life transitions, depression, stress/anxiety, mood disorders and relationship issues. She has received training and consultation that allow her to offer Trauma-Informed Therapy modalities, specifically for children and adolescents.
